Boomer Life Media

This is an exciting new venture that we started in March of 2011. It was just a simple WordPress site that we started, on not only a personal dare to ourselves, but with the knowledge that there was a significant segment of the population that was being ignored on radio and television. We knew this because we are that segment of the population. We didn’t need to sit in a dark room and look at charts, graphs and PowerPoint presentations to know that something was missing. It was something we simply felt in our hearts and minds as we looked out at our current media landscape.

With that in mind we started Boomer Life Media, a New York City-based production company that targets the radio and TV audience of the well-known, yet underserved, baby boomer.

What started simply as a web site that posted links to articles about baby boomers, played around on Twitter and Facebook, and runs a little online radio station that is currently nothing more than a jukebox has gained a solid following and interest from industry insiders and professionals. We just recently crossed over 32,000 hits on the web site and the radio station now has a global following.

So here we are in early 2012. We have a new web site and moved to new web servers in order to accommodate the media we will now produce for our audience. It’s all onward and upward from here.

Feel free to explore who we are, what we do, and learn how we plan to change the world of media and meet the needs of those living the “Boomer Life.” We will shake up the old belief system about aging, demographics and media. Not just domestically, but globally as well. We will be the leaders in this new and exciting marketplace.

Our slogan “The Second Act Begins Now” is not just about us. It came from that question of “What’s Next?” and is about the entire baby boomer population. And as current statistics indicate, we do matter and have a lot to offer.
